CHORDS

A very solemn message for a very solemn hour
In these days when life is just a game
Brings us to our senses as God appears in power
And sends three angels to proclaim
A warning, life or death; and yet

Chorus:

Would it be love if it didn’t warn you?
Would it be love if it didn’t warn you?
Would it be love if it didn’t warn you?
Would it be love?

First an angel calls out, “Fear God and give Him glory
“Worship Him who made all things”
Second angel follows and warns of Babylon
And the licentious wine she brings
And how she lures them into fornication- every nation

Chorus

Love gives a warning cry
Love makes the angels fly
Love will not let us die without a fight
Love laid His glory down
Love gave His only Son
All that’s left apart from them
Is consuming fire and endless night

Chorus

Third angel follows and cries throughout the land
If any bow down to the beast
Taking his mark on his forehead or his hand
The wine of God’s wrath will he drink
Fire and brimstone, in the face of the Lamb’s pure love

Chorus

“Fear God and give glory to Him
For the hour of His judgment has come
And worship Him who made heaven and earth
The sea and springs of water.”

“Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city
Because she has made all nations drink
Of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

“If anyone worships the beast and his image
And receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand
He himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God
Which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation.
He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone
In the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever
And they have no rest day or night
Who worship the beast and his image
And whoever receives the mark of his name.”

“Here is the patience of the saints
Here are those who keep the commandments of God
And the faith of Jesus.”
